NepenthesGod Carnivorous Plants is a U.S.-based nursery and specialty online retailer focused exclusively on Nepenthes—tropical pitcher plants from Southeast Asia's montane and ultramafic ecosystems. Our emphasis lies in highland taxa, with a particular focus on species complexes such as N. villosa, N. edwardsiana, N. rajah, and N. macrophylla, as well as their interspecific hybrids.
With over 30 years of intensive cultivation experience, we propagate from verified seed-grown stock and prioritize genetic integrity, phenotypic quality, and biogeographic representation. Many of our offerings—especially our advanced hybrids—represent novel grexes and are unavailable anywhere else. About
Carnivorous plants, and Nepenthes in particular, have been one of the principal passions of my adult life. Now, after several decades, that passion has culminated in the production of a diverse range of unusual Nepenthes species and hybrids which have been grown from horticulturally produced seeds and are offered for sale here.
Each plant, unless otherwise indicated, is genetically unique, being grown from carefully selected seeds. Additionally, seedling runts are weeded out from plants offered for sale, ensuring that only robust, well-growing specimens are available. Purchase with confidence, knowing that, unlike other nurseries, each plant you purchase here is a unique, one-of-a-kind individual, just like you!
